Alcemist Peace EP

The long-awaited drop from Alcemist is now live.

With the titular ‘Peace’ already lauded by DnB heavyweights Hybrid Minds, the EP presents a diverse 3-track bundle of bass-drenched dancefloor shells that bear all the experimental markings of the London-based producer.

‘Peace’ presents a bevy of atmospheric flourishes, trippy melodies and a spine-tingling second drop – all tied together with heavy kicks that keeps the energy boiling.

‘Shaolin Straightener’ darts away from the light-footed realm, taking the reins with a ruthless rhythm, murky sonics and a tetchy, grumbling bassline – the perfect peak-time wildcard.

‘Reflections’ rounds up proceedings with a rave-inspired marriage between melancholic vocals, breakbeats, and the timeless purring Reese bass ramped up to full effect.

Despite Alcemist’s young age, he has established a mighty fanbase from his endless output from the studio and via his DJ sets. Back in April, he took the DnB world by storm yet again with his cataclysmic release ‘Gone’ on the label, which held the coveted No. 1 slot on Beatport’s DnB chart for a solid month.

This followed a slew of other singles and EPs that have earned him the deserved admiration of crowds and fellow producers alike. Now, following his most recent release ‘The Plan’ back in July, his final drop of 2020 is a yet another statement of his unwavering focus.

Whatever energy Alcemist supplies, the tough edges are always softened with a heartfelt mood. Heads down!
